British Karate Federation Championships 2015

Five competitors from two Wado UK clubs took part in the 2015 edition of the British Karate Federation 4 Nations Championships. Amie Newton and Jordan Taylor from the Shinken Dojo, and Teerth, Charan and Amrit Dhesi from the East Hull Woodford Dojo.

Silver kata medals went to Jordan Taylor in the Male Under 21 section, and Amrit Dhesi in his boys 10 years section. At this level these are really pleasing results though I'm sure both competitors will be disappointed not to have won their respective finals and claimed British titles for themselves. Perhaps in September they will go one better when we will return to Glasgow for the British International at the same Emirates arena.

Amrit added to his kata silver later in the day when he managed to secure a bronze medal in his kumite section.

All of our competitors did themselves proud despite not everyone winning medals. Well done everyone!
