Wado-UK Junior Championships 2017

Six of our Wado UK Our Wado UK clubs took part in these year's Junior Championships. The Chikara, East Hull Woodford, Kazoku, Makoto, Shinen and Zanshin clubs all converged on the Hull University Sports Centre for the event.

Although the sports centre itself is currently undergoing a transformation, the obvious chaos around the site didn't spoil our competition. If anything it just left people a little confused as to how to enter the building. The hall itself was for us a return to where we held our very first Wado UK East Yorkshire Championships, though looking at this events 2 tatami approach it is difficult to imagine how we pulled off a major competition. It does lend itself wonderfully to our Junior Championships though, so we will be hoping to book for 2018 too.

All of those taking part did themselves and their clubs proud, and made the effort all worth while.
