October

Bag-pack Results
On Saturday the 22nd October, our clubs again gathered at the Asda Store on Kingswood to help raise funds for the kid's Christmas ice skating day. Bag-packing for this event is now a regular activity, and it was to prove very beneficial on this occasion. A staggering £1,009.17p was raised for the cause, which sets us up well for the event.
As is customary now we held our guess the total challenge, and our winner of the children's prize was Noah Shields from the Hull Zanshin Karate Club. His guess of £1,010 was just 83 pence away from the actual total. Our adult winner was Steph Davies of the Shinken Dojo, with her guess of £987, leaving her £22.17 off the actual total. Well done to Noah and Steph, enjoy your prizes.
Thank you to everyone who assisted us with this event, and a massive thank you to Steve Bell who puts in a lot of effort liaising with Asda, and making sure our paperwork is all in order.
